Welcome to the Galm Elementary PTA
Hello Galm Family and Friends and welcome back to a new and exciting school year! We would like to invite you to TEAM UP with us by becoming a member of the Galm PTA. There have been many studies that highlight male involvement – whether a father, uncle, grandfather, big brother or other male role model – increases a child’s self-esteem, grades and positive behavior. It is our goal to bring these positive influences to our students and school community. Joining is easy and does not require that you volunteer but we’re sure that once you join and meet all of our wonderful volunteers you won’t be able to resist.
Dues for 2011-2012 are $8.50 per person. Becoming a member means that you have the right to vote on any of the issues and money disbursements associated with the Galm PTA. You also get some benefits and discounts from some major companies and access to the state and national PTA websites which offer a lot of helpful information, resources and activities for you and your family.
All the money raised by the PTA is used 100% toward the children and many of their school activities. To sign up, simply look for our table at all school events or request and fill out a membership envelope from the school office and return to your child’s teacher. Only with the support of Galm Family and Friends will we be able to have a great year. Thank you!
